Glotbee

Contract translation, every clause checked.

Leases, employment and purchase contracts, NDAs, terms and conditions, licences. Glotbee reads the whole contract first, fixes every defined term and party designation to one translation, and checks every amount, date and deadline against the original.

What a contract needs.

A contract is read for its exact words. A term that changes between clauses, or an amount that no longer matches, can change what was agreed.

One name for each party.
“The Seller” on page 1 is the same “Seller”, with the same capital letter, on page 12. Every defined term is translated once, where it is defined, and used that way every time it occurs.
Amounts that still agree.
Where an amount is written in figures and in words, both are translated and still match. Currencies, interest, percentages and deadlines stay exactly as in the original.
Numbering and blanks as they are.
Clause, annex and schedule numbers, the headings and the signature block stay as in the original. Blank lines and placeholders (____, [●]) stay blank.
Legal terms with no equivalent.
Where a legal concept of one country has no counterpart in the other language, the closest equivalent is used, with the original term in brackets the first time.
Read in full first.
The type of contract, the governing law, the parties and signatories, every defined term, annex and deadline are worked out before the first clause is translated.

Every number accounted for.

A contract comes with a translation audit: a separate PDF that lists every number, date, code and name of the original, and shows where the translation has it. Anything that needs a person’s eye is listed first.

It is made by fixed rules, not by AI, so it says the same thing every time, and it is made again after your corrections. It shows that the figures and names match; it does not judge the meaning.

Before you rely on it.

A Glotbee translation is not a certified translation. A court, a registry or an authority usually asks for one, with a sworn translator’s stamp and signature. Glotbee Personal does not certify.

For a contract you sign, read the translation side by side with the original, and have it checked by a lawyer or a qualified translator who knows both languages. Glotbee does not give legal advice.

Three steps. No email back and forth.

  1. Upload your file.

The language and the kind of document are detected. Check them and choose the language to translate into.

  2. See the price, then click Translate.

The price includes VAT. Before you pay, you see the price and the first page of your original. Nothing starts until you click.

  3. Review, correct, download.

An email tells you when it’s ready. Read the original and the translation side by side, correct anything you want once, and download it as PDF or Word.

Questions

Can I translate a contract I am about to sign?

Yes. Choose Thorough for a contract you sign or file: everything in Standard, plus a second, independent reviewer and a second round of review. Read the translation side by side with the original before you rely on it, and have an important contract read by a lawyer or a qualified translator who knows both languages.

Is the translation certified?

No. A Glotbee translation is careful: it is reviewed, proofread, and checked against the original for numbers, dates and names. Courts, embassies and registries usually ask for a certified translation, though, which means a sworn translator’s stamp and signature. Glotbee Personal does not certify. You can download the translation as Word, so a sworn translator can review it, and sworn translators use Glotbee Professional to certify their work.

Who sees my documents?

You, and anyone you invite. Files are stored encrypted with your own key. To translate them, the text goes to AI providers that work under data processing agreements and do not train on it. You can mask ID numbers, account numbers and contact details before anything is sent.

What if I find a mistake?

Open the original and the translation side by side, click any paragraph, and correct it. Your corrections are written back into the document with its layout, and you download it again. Every order includes one correction round.

Which languages?

Over 50: the languages of Europe, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi and the other main languages of India, Turkish, Persian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Swahili and more. See every language. A PDF or a scan is translated into languages written in Latin, Cyrillic or Greek letters for now; for the others, upload it as a Word file.
