GlotBee

Financial documents, every figure in place.

Financial statements and audit reports, bank statements and payslips, tax returns and assessments, invoices and customs papers. GlotBee reads the whole document first, fixes every line item and term to one translation, and checks every amount, date and account number against the original.

What a financial document needs.

A financial document is read for its figures. A total that changes, a minus sign that disappears or a debit that becomes a credit changes what the document says.

Figures exactly as they are.
Every amount keeps its sign, its currency and its unit: “in thousands” stays in thousands. Totals, rates and exchange rates are never recalculated or rounded, even where they look wrong.
Tables row by row.
Every line item stays in its row and every figure in its column: current and prior year, debit and credit, note references.
One name for each line item.
A line item in the balance sheet and in the notes gets the same translation in both. Terms the original keeps apart, such as provisions and reserves, stay apart.
Each kind its own checks.
Bank statements: every transaction with its date, debit or credit and balance, and the opening and closing balance. Payslips: gross and net pay stay what they are. Tax forms: every box with its number. Invoices: quantities, unit prices, tax rates, Incoterms and customs codes unchanged.
Numbers that are not translated.
Account numbers, IBAN and BIC, tax and company registration numbers, invoice and reference numbers stay exactly as they are.

Every number accounted for.

A financial document comes with a translation audit: a separate PDF that lists every number, date, code and name of the original, and shows where the translation has it. Anything that needs a person’s eye is listed first.

It is made by fixed rules, not by AI, so it says the same thing every time, and it is made again after your corrections. It shows that the figures and names match; it does not judge the meaning.

Before you rely on it.

A GlotBee translation is not a certified translation. A bank, a registry or a tax authority usually asks for one, with a sworn translator’s stamp and signature. GlotBee Personal does not certify.

Before you rely on a financial document, read the translation side by side with the original, and have an important one checked by an accountant or a qualified translator who knows both languages. GlotBee does not give financial, tax or accounting advice.

Three steps. No email back and forth.

  1. Upload your file.

The language and the kind of document are detected. Check them and choose the language to translate into.

  2. See the price, then click Translate.

The price includes VAT. Before you pay, you see the price and, for a PDF, the first page of your original. Nothing starts until you click.

  3. Review, correct, download.

An email tells you when it’s ready. Read the original and the translation side by side, correct anything you want once, and download it as PDF or Word, or with the original side by side.

Questions

Are tables and figures kept?

Yes. Every row and column stays in its place. Figures that stand alone in a table cell are never sent to the AI: they are copied from the original, and only their separators are changed by fixed rules to the number format of the translation’s language (1.234,56 becomes 1,234.56 in English), where the reading is certain. The translation audit lists every number, date and code with where the translation has it.

Is the translation certified?

No. A GlotBee translation is careful: it is reviewed, proofread, and checked against the original for numbers, dates and names. Courts, embassies and registries usually ask for a certified translation, though, which means a sworn translator’s stamp and signature. GlotBee Personal does not certify. You can download the translation as Word, so a sworn translator can review it, and sworn translators use GlotBee Professional to certify their work.

Who sees my documents?

You, and anyone you invite. Files are stored encrypted with your own key. To translate them, the text goes to AI providers that work under data processing agreements and do not train on it. You can mask ID numbers, account numbers and contact details before anything is sent. An order’s files are deleted automatically 30 days after delivery, and you can delete them sooner.

What if I find a mistake?

Open the original and the translation side by side, click any paragraph, and correct it. Your corrections are written back into the document with its layout, and you download it again. Every order includes one correction round. You can also report a problem to GlotBee: choose the paragraphs, and decide whether GlotBee may read them.

Which languages?

Over 50: the languages of Europe, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Hindi and the other main languages of India, Turkish, Persian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, Swahili and more. See every language. A PDF or a scan is translated into languages written in Latin, Cyrillic or Greek letters for now; for the others, upload it as a Word file.
